Europe's oldest capitol, Athens dates back to 3000 BC and is considered the “Cradle of Civilization” since it was the birthplace of democracy, philosophy, and so much more.  If you like history, world-class archeological sites and museums, Athens is definitely your place.

Yet, if you like vibrant cosmopolitan cities with an enormous variety of great restaurants and cafes, ancient markets and modern nightlife, wide open squares and narrow cobblestone streets, endless shopping, street music, the arts, gorgeous architecture, pedestrian boulevards; Athens is also your place.

A perfect blend of ancient history and contemporary cool.

Athens will capture your heart.

Come explore it with us.

Because you just can't visit too many Greek Islands, we'll be spending the day sailing around the Saronic Gulf to explore Hydra, Poros and Aegina.

Transfers, lunch, and onboard entertainment are included.

The Plaka

In the shadow of the Acropolis, the world-famous Plaka of cobblestone streets, tiny shops, sidewalk cafes and family-run tavernas, is a treat to visit both day and night.

The Parthenon on the Acropolis

The magnificent Acropolis, built as a temple to the Goddess Athena, is the greatest symbol of the glory of ancient Greece.  Visible from almost every part of the city, it’s the hub around which Athens still revolves.  Truly an awe-inspiring site, particularly when walking, you turn a corner, and unexpectedly catch a glimpse.  You never tire of it.

The New Acropolis Museum

Sitting at the southern base of the acropolis hill, this stunning museum was built in 2009 to house the priceless treasures removed from the Acropolis and installed there for safekeeping.  The museum itself is an architectural wonder, surrounded by glass and bathed in natural light.
